The Christian funeral is a service of worship under the oversight of the Session where God is worshipped and where believers confess their faith in a living Savior. When funerals are conducted at First Presbyterian Church, staff ministers shall ordinarily conduct those services in their entirety and shall have sole responsibility and discretion in all areas relating to the funeral service.
