Churchtime Program

The Churchtime program immediately follows Sunday school and extends through the 11:00a.m. worship service. This program is for children who are currently in three and four year old Sunday school. The program is designed to prepare children to attend regular worship services with their parents in the sanctuary when they are five years of age.

The children attend a miniature version of a worship service. This service includes the singing of the Doxology, a hymn, recitation of the Lord’s Prayer, and a Bible lesson. A ruling elder leads the children in prayer. Refreshments are served and there is a short period of play time. Churchtime is not held in the summer for the four year olds prior to their enrollment in five year old kindergarten. This program is staffed by the parents of our three and four year old covenant children. It is held in the Kindergarten Suite for the 4’s and Room M135 for the three’s.
