Believing that we should prepare all of our children for singing as worshippers, we have a very active Children’s Choirs Ministry for children form four year olds through the sixth grade. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. In these choirs children are taught the basics of singing and reading music. An important part of their training is learning the great hymns of the church. All of the choirs sing in worship several times a year, and, additionally sing in fall and spring programs. As we have five children’s choirs, we are always in need of helpers, pianists and leaders. Those interested in helping can contact the music ministry office.
